Scipion
The necromancer of the Ark, and the author of every undead formula
Scipion was a commoner of the Ark chosen for his intelligence to join the few priests spared by the Global Partage. He was meant to turn Cerberan spells into divine liturgies. He built necromancy instead.
His precise formulas barely drift, allowing spells such as Raise Undead to last for centuries. Every later necromancer works inside his framework.
The Ark hunted him for theft, not heresy. Undead produce no red mana and cannot be harvested, so every corpse he raised was lost to the Partage. Paladins eventually killed him and carried his workshop, notes, and gems back to the Ark. The surviving formulas are studied in Cerberus under close watch and taught to almost no one.
