Create Undead King

Create Undead King transforms one body into a lich if its vital organs were preserved, or a vampire otherwise. The necromancer gains no control over the result.

A corpse no more than two rounds dead receives no Save. A living target resists with a Fortitude Save; on success, the spell fails but deals 20 HP per caster level. On failure, the transformation completes.

A lich becomes an undead that keeps its mind, with mental statistics fixed as under Undead Resurrection. It uses the lich entry for its body and keeps its caster level, slots, and learned spells. A vampire instead uses the vampire entry and is not undead.
