Faint Current
Raises a fresh corpse as a partial undead, with its mind and its skills intact
Faint Current raises one whole, recent corpse as a partial undead. It remembers its life and retains its own statistics and abilities. The corpse can be dead for no more days than the caster's caster level (see 3). Preserve pauses this limit, and Corpse Sense measures it. A body can be raised only once.
Size by Spell Level
| Spell level | Largest body |

| 4 | Large |
| 6 | Huge |
| 8 | Gargantuan |
| 10 | Colossal |
What Comes Back
The partial undead keeps its Constitution, Fortitude Save, Will Save, memories, and abilities. It still eats and drinks, and gains +2 to all six attributes as if permanently affected by Graveworld Boost. For its other traits, see the undead body.
Obedience
The spell does not compel obedience, but the necromancer can control the current in a creation they can see:
- Disrupt: a 1-tick spell action paralyzes it with no duration limit.
- Shut down: a 1-tick spell action ends Faint Current and kills the undead.
The Emerald
Setting an emerald into the body increases the Dispel DC by 25%.
