Harvest

The daily rite of the Partage takes a worshipper's mana and sends it to Archon

Available Levels
13579

Harvest is the daily rite of an Archon Cleric and the foundation of the Partage. The Cleric pours water over a source's skin and speaks the liturgy. The water enters the body and emerges red with the blood and mana it has taken.

A willing source makes no check. An unwilling source makes both a Will Check and Fortitude Check against the spell DC; either success rejects the water and cancels the rite. An unconscious source keeps only the Fortitude Check. Drugs and poison apply their normal effects but do not remove these checks.

The source loses all spell slots and caster level for 24 hours. Known spells and feats remain, but there is no power to fuel them. The water also causes minor damage and deep fatigue. Sensitive people may remain sad for several days. Even someone without magic gives blood to the Partage.

Water and Favor

The bloodied water must reach Archon or a consecrated center, where it is purified into divine mana. It gives nothing directly to the Cleric and cannot be redirected with Transfert.

By feeding the Partage regularly, the Cleric gains favor and may receive more divine mana, up to 7 × CHA. At lower levels, the Cleric must carry the water to a connected route. Later, it finds its own way.

Level Sources per rite Preservation Delivery
1 1 1 day carried by hand
3 4 3 days carried by hand
5 12 1 week finds connected water within 1 mile
7 50 1 month finds connected water within 10 miles
9 an entire village until arrival travels through the network itself

The rite lasts ten minutes for one source and about one hour for a gathering. It cannot be performed in combat. A Barrier around the source or destruction of the vessel interrupts the rite and loses mana already taken.

Its forced battlefield counterpart is I Take for My Master.
