Census
Reveals who belongs to the Partage, who has paid, and where their power comes from
A Censor counts before passing judgment. With Census, an Archon Cleric can see at a glance who belongs to the Partage and who evades it.

The creature receives no save and feels nothing.
Two Kinds of Mana
An ordinary worshipper carries only divine mana because their own power was harvested. High-ranking priest-researchers are not harvested: they keep their red mana alongside their divine share. At lower spell levels, this can make them resemble foreign spellcasters and cause embarrassing reports in small temples.
Only level 9 resolves the ambiguity by revealing the power's source. Below that, the Cleric must ask—or touch.
Deception
A strong illusion can conceal the film of consecrated water around a worshipper. If the illusion spell DC equals or exceeds the Census DC, the gaze reports only what the illusion shows. Otherwise, the Cleric sees through it for this examination without ending the illusion for anyone else.
Close examination cannot be fooled. Hands on skin, a finger in the water, and attention to the pulse reveal a worshipper regardless of illusion. Only complete bodily isolation—destroying the accompanying water, full abjuration, or a broken network connection—truly removes someone from the census, along with their status as one of the faithful.
