Archon's Favor
The Cleric asks the Partage for aid beyond their own spells
Archon's Favor lets a Cleric ask the Partage directly for aid. The spell can use a slot above level 3, and the sacrificed slot determines the strength of the answer.
Favor level = level of the expended slot +2, to a maximum of 9.
When a favor invokes a spell without a version at that exact level, use the highest version that does not exceed it. An Archon's Favor cast with a level 3 slot creates a level 5 favor: it can grant a level 4 Summon or Arcane Body, but a level 5 Enchant or Aqua Surge.
The Cleric chooses one favor.
Water Emissary
The Partage conjures a powerful water elemental loyal to the Cleric. Resolve it as Summon at the permitted level, except the creature is always a water elemental and immediately understands its assigned task. Its statistics and duration follow Summon.
Champion of Archon
A willing creature gains Arcane Body at the permitted level. Archon and the Cleric choose attributes suited to the requested task. The duration follows Arcane Body.
Consecrated Weapon
One weapon, suit of armor, or shield gains Enchant at the permitted level, even if that version could normally affect several objects. The favor lasts one hour per CL of the Cleric.
Deluge
The Partage releases Aqua Surge at the permitted level from a point the Cleric can see within Long range. No additional slot is spent. The Cleric chooses the current's direction and resulting movement.
These four requests are standard favors. They are granted automatically while the Cleric maintains a working connection to the Partage. A Cleric can receive only one standard or exceptional favor per day.
Exceptional Request
The Cleric may ask for something else: healing, protection, transport, revelation, or another miracle no stronger than the favor level. The GM prescribes the chance of acceptance based on urgency, the Cleric's rank and conduct, Archon's interests, the request's power, the state of the Partage, and previous favors. The slot and daily use are spent even if the request is denied or reduced.
When Soul Odyssey leaves Archon inactive, the Censors still authorize the four standard favors. They judge exceptional requests much more cautiously and may refuse one Archon would probably have granted.
