The World of Cerberus

Magic is everywhere. It does not hide in forgotten ruins: it flows through human blood, lights the streets, decides wars, and sets the price of gold. Everything that matters—a kingdom, a family, a god—holds its place through magic or against it.

This world's history has two eras. For three centuries, a man turned god held humanity through magic while a colony of exiles resisted from a distant island. Then the god fell, magic returned to everyone, and the seal barring creatures from beyond fell with him.

Beneath the neighboring sea, Askenon's dwarves dig. They have no magic. They have gold, mithril, cannons, and a grudge against a god.
