Cosimo Leblanc
Head of House Leblanc and keeper of Regeneration
Cosimo Leblanc is the head of House Leblanc and keeper of one of Cerberus's greatest secrets. Alongside Gérard Alois, he knows Regeneration, the spell Archon once granted only to wizards he held in high esteem. It cures disease, restores lost organs and limbs, and lets its caster return indefinitely to a chosen biological age.
His place in the State is less clear than his place in the family. Some records name Cosimo as the Leblanc consul; others give that seat to Magellan Leblanc. In either account, Cosimo leads the house that controls Cerberus's oldest divination archives — and the best of them were written by his grandson Christophe, dead at twenty-five.
Gyllyn entered that house by returning the sealed white grimoire of Christophe Leblanc instead of keeping it. Cosimo rewarded him with advanced training, took him under his protection, and brought him into the family. Gyllyn later married Cosimo's daughter Mathilde through Bond, joining their minds, magic, and lives.
Mathilde created Destruction Bubble, while Cosimo remained the keeper of the family's older divination and immortality.
During the invasion of the Ark, Cosimo joined Gérard Alois, the Varanovs, Brisé, and dwarven forces on the Telus front. Their campaign brought down Markus Telus.
His hardest decision came at home. When Ferothar burned the capital during the Nightmare War, the barriers maintained by Cosimo and Lucius Stoneheart did not cover the poor quarters. It was a calculated sacrifice, not an oversight. Gyllyn entered those streets the next morning and spent his entire mana reserve healing the people their great houses had left outside.
