A noble paladin of Archon, he opposed tyranny and chose freedom. This was the great refusal.
Founding a country capable of defying a god required more than conviction. On the Ark, Antoine found the most dangerous creature in the world and Archon's most bitter enemy. He saw not a monster to destroy, but an ally: two rebels fleeing the same tyrant to build a new world.
Antoine disappeared, and Vlad Varanov was crowned king in his place. No one knows what became of him.
