The oldest and most powerful house in Cerberus, House Alois presides over the council of mages. Gérard Alois sits as first consul, giving his voice priority over those of the other two.
Specialists in transmutation, the Alois have produced spells no one else possesses: Time Stop, the permanent creation of matter, and the Time Sphere. Their stronghold is laced with divination and abjuration and contains the circle room, where the family visualizes spell magic with tools it has never shared.
They also launched the Witcher project, transforming an orphan through alchemy into a combat beast specifically to counter the rise of Marcin Sobiesansky and his psychics. Alois magic is beautiful and efficient. That is what makes people want to serve them.
