Mental Fog

Makes the caster's mind inaccessible

Available Levels
3

Mental Fog fills the caster's mind with an impenetrable magical haze. From outside, their thoughts become impossible to distinguish, reach, or organize. The spell cannot protect another creature.

When casting, choose the exact duration in ticks or rounds, up to 1 round/CL. Extending it requires another casting.

The caster is protected against mental attacks, including control, domination, thought reading or alteration, memory destruction, fear imposed directly on the mind, and psychic damage. Effects that merely influence decisions without targeting the mind still work, and Mental Fog does not remove an effect already present.

While protected, the caster cannot cast or channel spells or maintain magical concentration. They can still drink a potion or use a simple magic item that requires no incantation, complex control, or concentration, at the GM's discretion.

Mental Fog has no progression and is always cast as a level 3 spell.
