Immolation
Turns the caster into a living blaze that consumes everything nearby
Immolation wraps the caster in violent fire and turns their body into a living blaze. The flames follow the caster and strike every creature in the area, including the caster.
The spell deals damage when cast and again at the beginning of every tick while concentration continues. Roll damage once per tick for the entire area. Its damage follows Fireball progression.
The caster takes only the listed portion of that damage. Neither this self-inflicted burn nor the rest of Immolation can be stopped by a Barrier. Fire resistance and immunity still apply normally.
| Level | Damage per CL | Caster damage | Radius |
|---|---|---|---|
| 2 | 1d12 | 50% | 10 ft |
| 4 | 2d12 | 40% | 20 ft |
| 6 | 4d12 | 30% | 40 ft |
| 8 | 8d12 | 20% | 80 ft |
| 10 | 16d12 | 10% | 160 ft |
Level 10 — Lingering Flames
The fire clings to every creature it touches. A creature that leaves the radius continues taking Immolation damage each tick for one full round.
