White Wolf of Brazzant

The white wolf of Brazzant's highlands is twice the size of its black cousin, and its breath freezes rain before it reaches the ground. The clans respect it. Killing a white wolf alone is an exploit remembered for a generation, and clan Plume claims Einar tamed one in his youth.

Its first profile becomes available with Summon or Polymorph Level 4.

The white wolf uses the standard Ground Speed generated by DEX. Its anatomy permits running, tracking, carrying, and pulling, but it has no hands.

Frost Breath. Once per round, the wolf replaces one attack with a 30 ft cone of frost. Every creature in the cone takes Bite damage with no Save. The ground becomes slippery for one round; a creature running across it falls prone on a failed Reflex Save against the locked Spell DC.

Highland Fur. The wolf is immune to natural cold. Halve magical cold damage before applying DR.

Pack Hunting. When at least two wolves threaten the same target, each adds +20% to its damage against that target.

An Animal Mind

A summoned white wolf understands the same concrete orders, signals, scents, and routes as an ordinary wolf. Greater profiles strengthen its body and breath, not its intelligence. A caster using Polymorph retains their own mind.
