Her mother's power and the same excess
Daughter of Lucius and younger sister of Charlie. Around her neck, she wears the pendant left by her mother, Catherine Adelbrand: a pale blue stone set in silver that fills with tiny bolts of lightning when she grips it. The spell within works only for her.
She inherited the immense and chaotic power that made the Adelbrands famous and destroyed her mother. Her accelerated Magic Missiles killed five bandits she had meant only to disarm. She struck Varnois Loubreton with lightning just after he received Archon's grace.
She hesitates before striking, then strikes too hard. She is the exact opposite of her brother, and the reason he casts beside her to help contain what she gathers.
At the Academy, she wanted friends more than anything. She found them.
