Planar Lock
A plane's boundary teleports away anyone forbidden to cross it
Planar Lock is an epic Conjuration created by Archon. It wraps a plane's boundary in a teleportation network and lets the caster decide who may enter or leave and by which routes. Exceptions can name people, factions, creatures, times, regions, objects, spells, or ceremonies.
The lock is not a wall. When something attempts a forbidden crossing, the spell seizes and teleports it away. Someone entering returns to the last safe place outside; someone leaving returns to the last safe place inside. Restricted projectiles, carried objects, portals, and magical effects are rejected in the same way.
The spell intercepts teleportation, planar travel, natural portals, and innate abilities crossing the boundary. It does not stop all teleportation within the plane, only crossings and routes forbidden by the caster's conditions.
An unauthorized creature can attempt a Will Check against the spell DC +15 when seized. Success permits that crossing. Critical success does not apply to Planar Lock: a natural 20 or similar automatic result still fails unless its total exceeds the DC.
The caster can release the lock. Powerful epic abjuration can also break it, and conditions defined during casting may open or end it. A plane can bear only one Planar Lock at a time; casting a second fails while the first remains active.
