This last barrier is the first of a new era
The Stoneheart archives hold a grimoire recounting the unhappy life of Jason Stoneheart, an obscure mage from that illustrious family. Wealth brought him neither health, talent, charm, nor belonging, and his short life ended in suicide without notice.
Charlie Stoneheart refused to let Jason's work disappear with him. Through painstaking research and divination, the gifted and compassionate mage reconstructed Jason's unfinished studies. Hidden within them was a secret that changed Charlie's understanding of magic forever.
The abjurer traps both the target and themself inside one final barrier. The barrier detonates by collapsing inward, crushing everything in its path.
