Alchemical Antidote
The right remedy begins with knowing the poison
An alchemical antidote is not a universal potion. It is prepared for one specific poison from a trace of that poison or its neutralized primary ingredient. Detect Poison identifies the required substance when it is unknown.
Preparing one dose requires a rest, an alchemist's kit, and the appropriate ingredient. Administering it is a general action. The victim immediately attempts another Fortitude save against the poison's DC with a +5 bonus. On a success, the poison and its progressive effects end; damage and HP already lost are not restored.
An antidote administered before exposure remains active for one hour and grants its +5 bonus only to the first save against that poison. A creature can benefit from only one preventive antidote at a time.
An antidote for a magically enhanced poison helps against the physical substance, but its bonus does not remove the enchantment. Remove Poison remains the safest answer.
