Rift Sense
Feels Psychic life through space and dimensional boundaries
Rift Sense allows a Kaer to feel the presence of Psychic beings and sources. Nearby minds can be noticed directly; great distances and dimensional boundaries require trained Psychic casters working through a listening ritual. Greater concentrations are easier to find.
Rift Sense detects neither thoughts nor red mana. Humans and their spells therefore appear magically empty to it, even when the human is a powerful sorcerer. The sense never replaces telepathy and cannot identify what a distant mind knows.
