Hill Troll
Large giant, summon and polymorph template
The hill troll is stupid, hungry, and almost impossible to kill cleanly: its wounds close while enemies are still striking it. Frontier villages do not try to cut trolls down; they burn them. An adventurer who faces one without fire or acid will tire first.
Its first profile becomes available with Summon or Polymorph Level 6.

The troll uses the standard Ground Speed generated by DEX. Its hands can grapple, climb, carry, and operate simple objects, but patience and fine work are beyond a summoned troll.

|---|---|---|---|

Regeneration
At the start of each tick, the troll recovers 10% of its maximum HP without spending an action. It can regenerate a total of 500% of its maximum HP per day. Once this reserve is exhausted, its regeneration stops until the reserve returns.
The troll regenerates while prone and rises as soon as its HP returns above 0. Fire or acid damage suppresses regeneration for one full round. A troll dies permanently only if it reaches its death threshold of −25% maximum HP while regeneration is suppressed.
Endless Hunger
A summoned troll understands only orders containing one concrete idea, such as “guard this bridge,” “follow me,” or “eat that.” A caster using Polymorph retains their own mind.
