Witness links the caster to willing subjects and carries their senses across the bond. The caster can see, hear, smell, and feel what each subject perceives. Shifting into a subject's senses takes a magic action (1 tick).
The caster can maintain one linked subject per caster level. Each must be touched during casting; adding another later requires a new casting of Witness. Up to INT ÷ 2 subjects can become passive channels whose senses blend naturally into the caster's perception. Experiencing any additional subject requires a conscious shift.
Cast as an 8th-level spell, Witness becomes permanent until dispelled and can target unwilling creatures, which resist with a Will Save.
