Memory Workshop
A permanent room where personal experience becomes searchable
Memory Workshop permanently transforms one room into an organized archive of the caster's memories. The archive updates as the caster returns with new experiences and remains in the room when the caster leaves. It lasts until dispelled.
The caster can search the archive by person, place, object, emotion, subject, or period. A selected memory fills the room as an immersive illusion that its occupants can observe, pause, and review. The caster automatically recalls information preserved in the workshop and requires no prescribed chance merely to remember it.
The archive contains only what the caster perceived and remembers. It cannot reveal an unnoticed detail, restore something already forgotten before the workshop recorded it, correct a mistaken memory, or establish that the caster's interpretation was true.
Learning from Experience
After reviewing a memory relevant to an upcoming task, the caster gains advantage on one prescribed chance roll based on that personal experience. This most commonly applies to enchantment, magical research, identifying an effect, learning a spell, alchemy, crafting, or investigating a person or event. The memory must genuinely contain useful experience for the task.
The advantage must be used within one day. The caster can gain this advantage only once per week, regardless of how many workshops or castings they possess. It benefits only the caster whose memories form the archive.
