Floating Container
Conjure tireless carriers, platforms, and magical caravans
Floating Container conjures broad containers of force that carry creatures, equipment, and cargo. Unlike a flat platform, each one has a floor and raised sides shaped to hold a large collection of loose objects efficiently. Its surfaces are translucent, but its dimensions and edges remain clearly visible.
The caster can close or reopen a container by concentrating for 1 tick. A closed container covers its cargo and protects it from rain and ordinary weather. It remains translucent while closed.
Each container appears at a point chosen within Medium range, including in midair, and requires no physical support. Several containers can therefore serve as steps or platforms across an otherwise inaccessible place.
A container can remain where it was created or follow a creature designated by the caster. It moves through open space by up to its Speed each tick, keeping the same relative position whenever possible. The guide gives it no orders and spends no actions directing it. If an obstacle blocks the container or the guide moves too quickly, it stops until a valid path opens.
Each container supports one creature or object up to its Maximum Load Size, or a reasonable collection of smaller cargo. Anything that fits within its dimensions may ride inside it. The container provides movement rather than protection: creatures and cargo remain visible and can be attacked, pushed, pulled, or removed normally.

Level 5 — Traveling Caravan
At Level 5, the containers can travel without a guide. The caster gives the caravan an itinerary they have personally traveled and chooses whether it waits at the destination or retraces the same route. The containers remember roads, doors, turns, and landmarks, but they cannot discover a new route or solve an unexpected obstruction. If the recorded path becomes impassable, the caravan stops and waits.
The containers travel together and preserve their original cargo. They have no senses, cannot report what happened along the road, and never fight.
