Acid Flask
Less dangerous to a hero than to their armor
Primary ingredient: Corrosive salt extracted from the greenish veins of Cerberus's mines.
Throwing this flask as an alchemical projectile is a general action of 1 tick. It shatters in a 5 ft space within 30 ft. Every creature in that space makes a Reflex save against DC 15 to escape before the splash.
On a failure, a target takes 2d6 acid damage. Its DR applies normally, but any nonmagical armor, shield, or cover struck also loses 1 DR until cleaned and repaired. This corrosion stacks to −3 DR. A success avoids both the damage and corrosion.
Ordinary acid cannot damage a magical object of a higher tier. Outside combat, it slowly eats through rope, wood, locks, and ordinary metal; the GM determines the required time from the material's thickness.
