Ki Powers
Small techniques bought a point at a time
The Monk can spend Ki on techniques rather than on powers. He may spend at most 2 Ki points per round across all of them, however much Ki he is carrying.
Sudden Speed — 1 Ki, no action. The Monk's Speed doubles until the end of the current tick. It costs no token and occupies no slot, so it can be spent in a tick already full. At the Granitefist grade this is how a Monk is suddenly on the other side of a battlefield in the middle of somebody else's plan.
Shadow Veil — 1 Ki, one general action. The Monk becomes invisible until the beginning of his next tick, or until he attacks—whichever comes first. An attack made while the Monk remains undetected resolves under the normal invisibility rules before the veil ends.
